Thanks I saw the post about the 30€ unlock in the P20 forum. The guy said he got his code very fast and it worked - I do find 30€ to be a bit steep though.

Thanks, I think I got it figured out now. According to posts here in the forum, the unlock is not possible from versions >= 8.0.0.145 (which can be downgraded to ...142). What wasn't clear to me, was the way the versioning works. But apparently it's simply counting up, so 145 is a later version...

Just noticed the camera button is not working. The phone vibrates, but does not start camera app. Once in camera app, it won't take a picture when pressing the button.
