    Thread [Recovery] TWRP 3.2.1-0

Since there is no TWRP for this device yet, I was looking around for recoveries for other phones based on the same SoC. The only one to be found is a work-in-progress for the Honor 8X. Here's what has successfully been done: - install zip (I did a HuRu flash) - format / wipe - adb shell...

Post UNLOCK bootloader app confirmed working (Not free though) for the Mate 10 / Pro

Did your IMEI / SN change? Most probably it did, unless you used a rebranding method that I'm not aware of. In this case this unlock code will not work.

Post G7 Thinq won't connect to LTE on T-mobile...help

The information is from gsmarena. They have been spot on with this kind of information the last times I checked. However, it seems like they're off with the G7. I just compared my variant with their information and it's off as well. Thanks for catching this! So in that case I can only think of...

Post G7 Thinq won't connect to LTE on T-mobile...help

    T-Mobile uses LTE bands 2, 4, 12, 66, 71, while the G710EAW, which I assume is the model you've bought, supports bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28, 38, 39, 40, 41 - so none of the TMob LTE bands. There are six variants of the G7, G710EAW is aimed at Asia/Oceania and together with the G710EMW (64GB/8GB...

    Post [RECOVERY][blanc] TWRP 3.2.1-0 touch recovery [2018-02-19]

I wasn't exactly serious about the carrier in my response to the other, semi-friendly post. Internet does work fine for everything else I did so far. I'm afraid factory reset doesn't really do much. Phone reboots into TWRP, which quits straight away and then goes into fastboot&rescue mode...

    Post [RECOVERY][blanc] TWRP 3.2.1-0 touch recovery [2018-02-19]

It was conncted for a good half hour before I considered it would be a problem. Hadn't tried with the sim before so I just gave that a go, didn't change anything. BL is unlocked and the OS is Pie. Thanks for the advice. Didn't work. Shall I contact my carrier now? That's the second instruction...

    Post [RECOVERY][blanc] TWRP 3.2.1-0 touch recovery [2018-02-19]

I wasn't successful installing twrp 3.2.1-0 on my Mate 10 pro (BL / FRP unlocked). After flashing the img, the phone would reboot into standard recovery. For some reason I thought it would be a grand idea to do a factory reset and got FRP lock now. At this point, when rebooting to recovery via...

Post Firmware version for BL029 BL Unlock

Thanks I saw the post about the 30€ unlock in the P20 forum. The guy said he got his code very fast and it worked - I do find 30€ to be a bit steep though.

Post Firmware version for BL029 BL Unlock

Thanks, I think I got it figured out now. According to posts here in the forum, the unlock is not possible from versions >= 8.0.0.145 (which can be downgraded to ...142). What wasn't clear to me, was the way the versioning works. But apparently it's simply counting up, so 145 is a later version...

Thread Firmware version for BL029 BL Unlock

Sorry guys, but I'm still confused about which FW versions can be BL unlocked and which can't. I'm not familiar with the Huawei versioning in the naming of the firmwares. Specifically, it's BLA-L29 8.0.0.150 C432 that I am wondering about. If someone feels like explaining the versioning in a...

Post [Q] Xperia T protoype WIFI and Radio issues

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any more info or get any more help here. The only system that's working properly so far is CM10. Lucky you. There are prototypes that seem to have slightly different hardware. I've heard from other people having XT protos that are running just fine on most, if...

Post [SOLVED] IMEI missing, Baseband unkown, Wifi doesn't turn on

There are a lot of modem files in that folder, but I really don't know if just grabbing those and overwriting them would be a good idea...I have no idea about dependencies etc. Anyway, I might give it a shot at some point. And yes, I'm really quite happy with the stock rom, too. That's why I...

Post [SOLVED] IMEI missing, Baseband unkown, Wifi doesn't turn on

I really don't know, but since a ROM is flashable and does contain a certain baseband, I would guess the baseband itself could be flashed through recovery, too? So the baseband files in the ftfs are the amss files if I'm not mistaken. I'm curious to know where to find the according files in the...

Post [SOLVED] IMEI missing, Baseband unkown, Wifi doesn't turn on

Did you find the time to compare basebands yet? I still haven't made any progress with my XT. Which are the baseband related files in a ROM that is a flashable zip? I'd like to try to mix the CM files with stock to see whether I can get a modified stock working or simply find out if there's a...

Post [SOLVED] IMEI missing, Baseband unkown, Wifi doesn't turn on

It's not like I dislike custom roms. But CM10 is kinda...meh. It's ok, but like I said - I'd really like to get to the bottom of the problem and not just run CM10 because that's the only thing that will work. Furthermore I'm using a ZL and wanted to pass the T on to a family member or mate after...

Post [Q] Xperia T protoype WIFI and Radio issues

Well, ebay...you never know what you get ;) I didn't buy a prototype on purpose. It would be kinda foolish to spend money on a phone when you don't know whether you'll get it working again. Even though I have to admit that I appreciate the challenge :) Prototypes are not supported at all. No...

Post [SOLVED] IMEI missing, Baseband unkown, Wifi doesn't turn on

Yes, everything was working under CM10, and only CM10. Not 10.1 or 11. Also, Wifi was working with the oldest firmware or when flashing the ICS stock firmware module to the fw versions that didn't work with it. I'd really like to get to the bottom of the problem though and get a stock rom...

Nidhal AKA the king I stumbled on this thread more or less by accident after reading your post in the Backup TA thread. I've got a Xperia T protoype here that is having exactly the same issues. Post [Q] Xperia T protoype WIFI and Radio issues

I didn't mention that some of the stock firmwares use the same baseband as the one in CM10, that doesn't help though. Also, coming from CM10 and flashing stock without baseband doesn't help. This thread has had 150 views so far, but no responses. I know this might not be the usual problems...

Thread [Q] Xperia T protoype WIFI and Radio issues

The problem: Xperia T prototype (0044 IMEI) will not run stable on most stock firmwares. WIFI only works with the ICS stock WIFI module (7.0.A.1.303 FW or flashing module to other firmwares). Also, baseband and IMEI is blanked out in settings. The radio is not working at all. So after testing a...

So it is, indeed, the light sensor. Thanks! I'm a bit confused about proximity sensor and switch. What's the difference between the two? When I use the service menu to check (idiot me, could've done that to determine that the third one is the light sensor :D) the proximity switch, holding...
