If I want to make sure my device is an unlocked firmware can I just flash the BQK5 odin files BUT use the AQK2 CSC instead so it's XAA instead of whatever sim card I insert?

Was on beta 2. DO NOT SETUP ANY BIOMETRIC UNLOCK. It ended up locking me out of my phone and passcode wouldn't work so I had to factory reset. I think we'll have to wait till Samsung officially releases beta 2 through OTA for the Sprint and t mobile people

Can you just use smartswitch to downgrade back to nougat and then flash the Oreo beta 2 build in stock recovery or do you have to use Odin to flash those nougat files again?

Just wanted to point out that this worked for my t mobile variant S8+ on AQJ8. What I did was flash the AQG1 firmware for At&t through Odin and then used another file to upgrade from AQG1 to AQGL and then I used the file in the OP to update to the Oreo beta and it worked. My S8+ is unlocked so...

Easily one of the best battery life I've had on a smartphone. Definitely worth it. And that's with heavy usage too, YouTube and gaming pretty much all day

Hm, maybe when you're typing, have your keyboard open and then hold the Bixby button until you see something about diction. Make sure you're not using the official Samsung keyboard since that's how I found the settings

It's to make the interface look more simple and elegant. Turning on the phone to your lockscren to see a pin or pattern waiting right there covers a lot of your notifications and even wallpaper which is why they added an extra swipe to get to that screen. Makes more sense this way to me honestly...

Sup, I'm using an adblocker and it uses a VPN, however there's always a notification of the VPN running as shown in the screenshot. I tried going into settings to disable but it's a system notification so I can't get rid of it. Does anyone know a workaround for this? I would gladly appreciate it.
