A lot of Play Store apps which work fine with any non CM ROM are incompatible with FXP. Why is that? I've tried a few different FXP based ROMs, both ICS and JB, and they all seem to cause incompatibility seemingly at random.

I've just switched to FXP135 + JB gapps today and the majority of apps on Google Play are now reported as being incompatible. How can I fix this? I completely wiped everything prior to installing the ROM, I've cleared the cache and Dalvik cache subsequently.

Is there any way to update the YouTube app? The one packaged with the ROM FCs for me but updating it via Google Play gives incompatibility errors.

Gekko12482, have you tried using Flashtool (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351324) rather than the SDK? You can at the very least use it to reflash the stock Sony firmware if the sd permissions problem persists.
