So, my idea worked...my phone is now back up and running, what a relief!

Ok, this has given me an idea - I have flashed fresh Cyanogen and now I'm attempting to restore just the 'data' and 'cache' elements of my backup by using the Philz 'Custom Restore' feature...fingers crossed!

I just flashed this onto my Cyanogen Lollipop S5 and it killed it, the device didn't even boot-loop, it just hung on the Samsung kernal screen. If this is only for KitKat then please make it FAR more clear on the opening post.

Guys, one advantage I found in Schaps rom was the Mobile Operator program that preconfigured all of the MMS/GPRS settings based on the country and provider details that you entered. Is there any way we can get this to run on Black v3.00? As my MMS isn't working since flashing to it?

Its not the instability of the Roms, its the speed!!!! Black v3.00 is SO quick, I have a much happier phone, and I'm a much happier owner!

Guys, just installed Black v3.00, amazingly quick rom and so fast compared to Schaps - I honestly believe that Black v3 is twice the speed of Schaps! Finally, I have a usable phone!!

Although I appreciate Schaps hard work - I've just reflashed to Black v3.00 and its twice the speed of Schaps rom, infact I can actually use my phone practically without having to wait for it to boot from Standby etc. Answering a call is immediate, my phone no longer rings to my friends for 2/3...

So can we conclude that the Hermes wasn't ever *supposed* to run WM6, hence why all the WM6 roms just simply don't really work very well once you install just a couple of apps? Some without even installing supplemental programs?
