    Thread Desktop stand charger

I looked at all the desktop stand/chargers for my LG G Watch R and didn't really like the look of any of them. They were all too expensive or involved the expense of a 3D printer, which I don't have. I used to work in a jewellers and remembered the display stands we used so I found this display...

Thread What is wrong with my battery?

9 hours to charge and then discharge in less than an hour? Other times it will charge in an hour and discharge even quicker. Tab is rooted and I've tried clearing battery stats and the fully charge, off for an hour, discharge to 50% and off for five hours with no consistent results. Sometimes...

Post ASUS TF700T unlock and root JB 4.2.1 stock

I rooted my TF 700T because I wanted to apply the ftrim lagfix. The lag was simply making the tablet unusable. No problems with the Kingo root so far.

Post Removing Three Network boot logo

Just flashed these. Big delay I know but that's another story. Anyway. They all got copied into system/media The shutdown file was the only one that didn't replace an existing file and, sure enough, boot up now shows the Samsung S but shutdown still shows the Three logo. Anyone know where the...

Post ASUS TF700T unlock and root JB 4.2.1 stock

After a lot of Googling, which evinced that Kingo had only gathered IMEI numbers in an attempt to build a database of devices and associated os versions; which practice they have now stopped, I took the plunge and rooted with their program. Success! The easiest root I have ever done. It...

Thread Removing Three Network boot logo

I've searched on this but can't find anything. I have a Three network Galaxy SIII that has been network unlocked and works on my O2 account. Post [APP][2.3+][Weekly Builds] XBMC For Android Nightlies

I've been playing around with various nightlies. Sadly the Pivos build, with hardware acceleration seems the best for my MBX DVBT device. I say sadly because there haven't been any new builds since October. Meanwhile I've been focusing on the network problem. Basically I never got good...

Post [APP][2.3+][Weekly Builds] XBMC For Android Nightlies

Wot I said. It all appears back to front to me. I can see why XBMC has ended up like this as it started as a standalone environment designed to work on a machine that was only ever intended to run games. I just think it might be time for fork designed to work as either an OS in its own right or...

Post [APP][2.3+][Weekly Builds] XBMC For Android Nightlies

I'm beginning to think the concept of XBMC "launching" itself as an OS on top of an OS is flawed. Video and audio streaming works splendidly using ES File Manager on Android but as soon as I switch to XBMC I get all sorts of problems and none of the advantages of the Android OS: no media...

Post [APP][2.3+][Weekly Builds] XBMC For Android Nightlies

Unless you add them to the local library (press "C" on keyboard / select "Add item to library" ) XBMC is pulling all the extra information (the info you see while it's playing) from the server each time. Adding it to the library creates a local database of this and makes streaming much smoother.

  24. amwebby

Post [APP][2.3+][Weekly Builds] XBMC For Android Nightlies

The only build I've found with HW acceleration is the Pivos one, for armplayer machines. I have found, when streaming over wifi, that files played directly are not buffered, whereas those played from a playlist are and so don't have any stuttering.

I'm not convinced the router is at fault. I've had the same experience using various routers and have found clearing the XBMC cache solves the problem, which suggests the app is at fault, which seems to agree with the fact you and I have not experienced the problem with any other app.

Panacea has a search option. Once you have opened a database and selected a table you are presented with two options: Iterate through the rows or, Search the database. The second option then asks you to select a field to search and a search term. Works great for me and is very useful.
