Strange but after ~20 trys redmi managed to finally download update !

So I have to unlock bootloader, can I then safely lock it again ?

Note 5 and redmi 5 plus use the same software?

Im trying to update miui to 9.5.12 but the download always stops f.e. at 22% and says that there was a problem, please try again. I tried to factory reset but still the same I can't even install update trough zip cus it says that i can't install custom roms when I want to push non custom.

Is this just rom or my phone has rotation problems, when i open camera options and all ui is turned in wrong side, photo is made in the wrong side too

Hi! Today while watching yt, my d855 with RR 7.1 freezed and turned off. I couldn't power it on in any way. Tried to replace battery, it worked, but i can only get to TWRP, while trying load to system it freezes and shuts down. Then I tried to wipe and reflash rom but even in twrp , screen...

For now, better install RR 5.8.4 with Nougat

After some tries, I noticed that phone freezes after setting lock screen, after 5-10 min it unfreezes and works properly.

Can't enter lock screen options - settings crash

I tried to lock , unlock and lock but still the same ...

I tried to flash stock recovery and boot.img but it still re-unlocks after rebooting. Help !

When i press the bottom left side of the phone or just touch screen near the return button , strange things happen to touchscreen, it starts to click all over the left side of screen, i tried to look at the screen connectors but they look fine.

When i plug any charger (even when i try to charge from PC ) to my D855 it gets immediately hot from around 51 to 73 degrees in less than min. I have R Remix and Artx kernel. :confused:

Is my battery life good? 11pm 92 % - 10 am 80 % but with Bluetooth and WiFi turned off... BTW when i connect it battery drains quicker. When I do things like watching weather or looking at documents on watch 2%/4-5 min

When trying to flash kernel error shows up: Recovery busy box setup filed. EDIT: problem solved.

when i flash error shows up: It appears you have unsuported baseband 21C, when i flashed it last time there weren't ant problems. EDIT: nvm problem solved ... i was flashing Kernel first instead of ROM

I wasn't using it, but it still reboots. On the second Stock 6.0 ROM (Have mooltiboot) Tethering works fine.

After turning off WiFi tethering, phone stops and reboots.
