    Guys, I think I have the answer. Try upgrading the firmware on your phone to the most recent version. I have a Verizon HTC One M8, so I used the one from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62734094 Worked like a charm for me!

    Marshmallow is being really finicky for me, so I want to just stay will lollipop. But no matter what I do, whether that's install a custom ROM, custom recovery, root it, or whatever, my watch just goes ahead and downloads the update and flashes it when I put it on the charger.
