Seeing as how all Verizon phones are GSM unlocked I don't see why there would be a problem. You will want to see what bands the Verizon phone has for LTE. T-Mobile uses bands 2,4 and 12. I used an iPhone 5s that was for Verizon on T-Mobile for several months and it worked just fine.

I just update my V20 using LG Bridge. It updated without any problems. I have the T-Mobile variant and Windows 10. Plugged it in and the process took about 25 minutes to update. I have a very good internet connection so that might be the helping factor.

When I go into APN settings it say "Unable to view the access point names. Access is restricted for the current user profile." I try to add an apn but it won't save. I am connected to LTE on my 930F but was wondering if something was wrong?

If you can magically unlock the bootloader and install TWRP on the Sprint model, then no it won't work anyway. The U.S versions of the Galaxy S7 and Edge have locked bootloaders because of the Snapdragon processors.

Does it come with any type of carrier bloat? Also is the icon for data 4G or LTE?

Open up settings, scroll down to applications, click application manager then select an app. It will say storage and you click on that and the next screen will say internal and change underneath it. Not all apps can be moved though. Most apps cannot be moved to SD card for some reason.

I have to G930F and I am using it on T-Mobile. There is not VoLTE or WiFi calling on this model. LTE speeds are the same as if you got a phone from T-Mobile.

Whatever kernel you have before you flash will be the kernel you have after you flash. So yes you are correct about this ROM not having a kernel.

I would go ahead and do a factory reset first then if you aren't getting LTE take it back. Might save you some time.

Is this a T-Mobile branded GN5 or a different version? Have you taken it to T-Mobile and asked them to see what the deal is? Can you post a pic of your APN Settings please?

Probably because it is slimmed down and using arter kernel fixes the memory issue.

I have this issue too. Sometimes the calendar app is open when I unlock the phone. I'm running Thrash Lite ROM with arter 4.3 kernel. I just thought it was me. Doesn't really bother me.

That's a lie. The stock carrier ROM is laggy compared to the Thrasher Lite ROM. Battery life is better i=with a custom ROM as well.

If the phone is not paid off I would not buy it. I would use an upgrade, Jump or Jump on Demand. Jump on Demand would probably be best if you like to switch phones often.

If he is stuck in Download Mode all he has to do is hold volume up, volume down, home and power buttons at the same time for about 2 seconds and the phone will shut down and he can restart into twrp and reinstall a ROM if he has one on his phone sd

Well you don't have to take a picture of the card if you don't want to. You can manually add all your card info in. When I was accepted in the beta I just manually input my info. I have USAA so it didn't work, but I can verify that you don't have to take a pic.

You can't just press the home button to get out of that? It looks like it is installed. Remember that this TWRP we have is in beta right now, so it isn't perfect.

You could always pull the s-pen out and use smart select, then use the lasso tool then auto shape to select it. Just make sure you are using a black wallpaper.
