I've been using Nova from the get-go and no issues like you've described. Have you looked thru all of Nova's settings? Nothing to do with Transitions? What about trying to change the phone's animations all to 0.5x?

I have my phone set for screen to wake when a notification comes in. Is there not a way to have the notification appear at intervals until I dismiss? The way it works now is, screen will wake when a notification comes in, and stays on briefly, then goes off...and that's it. Am I to understand...

It's not even available to select for backup. In Google Photos, under Device Folders, all I have available are "Camera" and "Screenshots". Regardless, when I download, previously, up until recently, anything I downloaded ALWAYS went into Downloads. now it's going into this "/document/1" folder...

Sorry, I meant images as in "pictures". Meaning: when if I do a Google Image search and save a picture, it doesn't go in Downloads, and therefore does not get backed up in Google Photos.

Um, I just effed up BIG TIME. I flashed ElementalX. Now, I am stuck in a bootloop and cannot get into TWRP. Holding down power + vol down gets me to where you'd expect, but when I choose Recovery, the bootloop just starts all over again. Any advise?
