xGels update broke the persistent search bar hiding for me also. Leaving the gap at the top of each screen, and also hiding the search bar on the Now screen. It also reverted the icons i'd replaced (in my dock) back to stock versions. Installing the above update fixed all of those errors for me...

I waited a while - dirty flash to 93 worked sweet as. Thanks Mike. I feels a bit snappier than before too - note since I backed up to be safe, I updated xposed and elemental (via the app) too at the same time. :D

Same for me. I've just installed the latest version and updated the Car app. All working sweet except the recent tasks. Which, to be honest, isn't particularly missed.

Oop, just realised that it broke 'recent apps' for me too, systemwide, not just when Car mode is on.

Purple tint is a hardware issue, not ROM or ARHD. Search the thread for more info. Toolbox will arrive when (and IF) Xposed is developed for Lollipop/ART. It may be quite a while off but there are separate forums on XDA covering that.

I thought i'd fixed via wipe 'google services' data and restart. But the issue came back this morning. Apps>all>Google Services> wipe data fixed it again. I then upgraded to 83.1. Hopefully this fixes it permanently. FYI the dirty flash from 81 to 83.1 was super smooth and seamless. :D

I had the same. Erase cache didn't seem to do anything. Erase Data on the google services app and then restart seemed to do the trick.
