Fire HD 10 - Would like to turn on "Show mode" automatically on charging, and turn off when unplugging. Any apps or scripts that can do this? I don't know how to activate "Show mode" besides pulling down notification and toggling. Thanks!

Noob (for touchpad) question: I installed CM9 on my touchpad, and I already have market and gmail... Why do I need to install GApps on top of that?? Or don't I need to if I already have them.

Sign me up as another grateful HD2 user. The middle lead was instead poking up, pushed it back in a bit and now it's working. To be sure, there's only one lead in the middle right? I hope a lead didn't break off. After 1+ year of solid use, I can still do everything with this baby.

Just want to share again that I had the increased battery drain on two separate occasions, both of which were fixed by switching my brainmaster one percent framework back to the default one. I switched back to the one percent framework afterwards and also maintained low battery drain of 3-5mAs...

I once posted about 60mA drain that was fixed by changing the framework, and I have since switched back to brainmaster's percentage framework and drain remains at ~5mA, so maybe just changing the framework around and back may work, recreating some system file in the process. For the angry...

I actually reboot quite alot since I use two batteries and I swap them after I use them, so one of the reason this was attractive to me is because of the boot-time. I used Shubcraft CM6 before and that was decent, but I supposed I can check out HD2One and see.

Works nicely. Responds pretty nicely on bootup. My choice amongst the bootloaders. One request if you're willing to update is the graphics. Maybe put it on a black or leathery background?

What are the benefit/downside for Desire versus Desire HD builds? I read somewhere that Desire may boot up faster whereas Desire HD may look better on HD2? Any comments are welcome. I have SD/RAM darkstone right now, which uses Desire base. What's a good comparison RAM build for Desire HD?

Slow shutdown/reboot Sometimes when i try to shutdown or reboot it takes a really long time (almost a minute). Just now when I shutdown the screen is off but the backlight is still on and I did a batt pull. Otherwise the rom runs great. Anyone run into this problem and have any solutions?

What's the difference between the "latest", "latest android" in the nexus folder and the "latest" in the autobuild folder? They all have different size and different dates
