Yeah, it didn't really fix mine either. A work around is getting a rebooter app (I use rom toolbox) and use it to reboot to recovery when you need to..it works for me

This isn't a hard brick:good: when you boot your phone don't hold down the volume button, then hit the volume down button right when the menu comes up. Then just cycle through and hit RSD and that should do it here is a thread specifically talking about fixing this issue...

Your glass screen is your digitizer so, yes and no lol but you won't have to replace the LCD underneath the digitizer. I bought a digitizer+frame off of ebay for about the same price as the digitizer this website. It was pretty easy to replace, as cell phone repairs go. It was a little scuffed...

You can't animate the boot logo, it's static..but you can animate a boot animation if thats what you're looking for. And you could try re-downloading it, but most the zips here are for outdated recoveries, or just simply contain the img for you to flash through fastboot

okay, here you go, the first picture is the front facing camera, you can see its not wonderful quality but good for quick snapshots of yourself or you and whoever, and as good a quality for video calls as I've seen..the last two are from the back facing camera, and while it's not amazing, it's...

its very simple to root this phone..just plug in, install drivers and run a program and it does everything for you..the front camera is good.. not great..but good for posing with the girlfriend or video chats..the back camera however takes great quality photos(if you want I can send you pics...

Can anyone confirm if video chat on gtalk is working for them on this rom? I flashed the addon but none of my contacts see me as video chat cmpatible, and if I try to call them they can't see my video, just a profile pic

+1 and yes it already has a CM9 beta out, and it will be getting official ICS around august, which definitely won't hurt the developing for CM9:)
