Just received mine today (Walmart > Google Play Store), and I'm happy to report that I have no noticeable light bleed. On a black screen, the backlight appears to be uniform. The serial number indicates that it is an R32CB unit, if anyone's interested.

Nevermind... tablet arrived right after this. Ran home quickly and picked up the box and spent lunch hour playing with it. I finally have it! :victory:

That is correct. There is no Tegra 200. The Tegra 250 AP20H is the chip used in phones, Tegra 250 T20 is used in tablets. As far as I can tell, the biggest difference between the two SoCs is that the Geforce ULP GPU is clocked higher on the tablets (333mhz vs 300).

I'm getting the same error as well and from other EA mobile games (Sims 3). My guess is that they don't support the Atrix yet. You'd think though that having their game demos bundled on the device that they'd have the full versions ready though.

Are you talking about the full version of NFS: Shift? Of course the demo works, but the full version doesn't. It starts up and tries to download the 150mb of extra data from EA and then errors out saying "Unsupported Device". Sims 3 does the same thing.

While my last two phones (Nexus One and Captivate) have AMOLED, I don't mind the screen on the Atrix. I don't think the pricing is AT&T's fault here. The Xoom is a VZW device, yet is selling for a ridiculous $800+ +one month data. Motorola is getting greedy, IMO. Hopefully a soon-to-be crowded Android tablet market will knock the Xoom down a few hundred.

+1 Animations, live wallpapers, etc are not part of the "Display", and disabling animations won't decrease the percentage of power the display uses. Display means the actual hardware- the AMOLED screen and touch sensors. Your animated GUI falls under Android System, IIRC, and Live Wallpapers...
