It's a known issue, the commands aren't included in the bootloader for q yet. We need to wait for OnePlus to add them. To fix your problem, try fastboot booting the magisk patched boot.img for the 10 beta.

would anyone know why, after installing ob1, i can not fastboot boot twrp? i am rooted, so if there is another method of installing it, that would be great also.

Try fastboot booting bluspark first, and flash from there

You have to flash magisk before rebooting into the rom. 1. Reflash pie. 2. Restart. 3. Reboot to bootloader. 4. Fastboot boot bluspark 5. Flash bluspark.zip 6 reboot to recovery 7. Flash magisk 8. Reboot system

weird issue i just installed version 1.3 on my lg v20, and when i try to use the terminal ui i get the error "sh: art_magisk: not found" please let me know what info you need from me to recreate or solve this problem.

sounds like the battery is dieing. overheating and short lifespan are hallmark symptoms. i would contact whoever you got it from to see if they could replace it, barring that, you could always use the ifixit instructions to do it yourself.

Just as an update, I solved my problem. It seems that there were some corrupted files on my data partition, and they were causing nandroid to fail and reboot randomly. So, since I was planning on wiping anyway, I wiped and set up viper again, and successfully made a nandroid after.

tried using twrp 2.3, 2.2, cwm touch, regular cwm, does it on all of them.

nope, i have hboot 1.06, and either way that wouldn't, and shouldn't, cause a nandroid to fail during backup, nor for the phone to reboot by itself.

my one s recently developed a strange issue, where if i try to run a nandroid backup, it will mostly finish, then reboot itself without fully completing the process, leaving me with a bunk backup and stuck on one rom for now. also, and the more important of my 2 concerns, is that i don't know...

Hi all, question, could someone mirror the standalone dialer fix for 1.2?. I tried the fixed Rom.zip, but the friendstream widget is broken unless I update from 1.0, and if I do that, I don't have the dialer tab.

you don't need the kernel, and that might even be what's causing the issue. try without it.

technically, it's the same phone so it should work with no issues once root is attained.. realistically, the only way to be certain is test it when it comes out.

gotta say, the only issue i have is the lack of skins working. all of the built in ones only change the wallpaper. this is after a full wipe using ext4 recovery, s-off, 1.4 hboot. also formatted all partitions prior to install. everything else is smooth!!

the 3 finger salute still works, you just need to hold the buttons down longer.

that isn't the newest radio, 2.22.28.25 is, although you would also need to install the requisite spl. as far as radio 2.22.23.02 goes, i never had a problem with it, and neither have most people.

fixflash worked to get the phone to boot, but i can't start bluetooth now.

i always use the super wipe between rom flashes, and i used to always use fastboot before that. neither have worked for this particular problem. here's the most recent recovery log from my most recent attempt to flash the rom.

um, i don't know about anyone else, but every time i try to flash the parts addon, i get "installation aborted (status 0)". also, the rom itself, flashed onto a completely blank phone, bootloops without displaying a bootanimation. if someone could tell me how to post a logcat, i can add that...

i had that happen a while ago when i used apps2ext. i wiped, nuked the ext partition, and haven't had the problem since.

i just tried universal androot 1.6.2 beta 5, and it keeps saying that it failed. i'll attach the log i had it generate in a sec. tied 1.6.1, worked without a hitch. ignore previous edit. :p

no. when you use the unmount option from the settings menu, it will automatically disable swap if using swapper.

welp, bit of an update, i tried the fix posted above, set the profiles up, and everything seemed to be running fine, until a call came in. the phone froze halfway through my ringtone, then reboot. and as i type this, it just restarted again. i think for now i'm just going to clock it back to...

thanks john, i'll give that a try and report back to see if it resolves my problem. consequently, my previous "fix" didn't work. i woke up to the phone vibrating on restart.

um, i'm using dumfuq's oc710-cm-2.6.34.1-6.0.0rc2-signed.zip, and i keep getting soft reboots. it happens when the phone goes to sleep, and max is set to 614. this is on a rooted g1, using cm6 rc3. it seems to have cleared up after i created a profile for sleep, with the max set to 480

as of right now, bluetooth doesn't work on any sense rom for the g1, and i'm not sure if it ever will.

um, when did they ever say that they were abandoning the rom? you know they have lives outside of deving, right? give it a few days, and i can almost guarantee that there will be an update.

you can't port it to cm6, you'll need to install one of the sense roms. check the rom bible sticky, look for either a 1.5 sense rom, or 2.1 sense rom, then follow the instructions.
