Hi, i installed a new rom (oreo) To my surprise, i could still see the system ui tuner still in the settings. Whenever i open the system ui tuner, "unfortunately systemui has crashed" does anyone know, how to get rid of systemui tuner, without opening it and selecting, remove from settings?

since substratum mods for th navbar height are not working (correct me if i'm wrong, but in my case, nothing changes when applying) i was looking for an alternative way of reducing the navbar height. if i remember correctly, on nougat there was a way of decompiling the Touchwiz_home.apk and...

hey, small problem here, running alexisrom with noxx kernel R11. on my previous rom (nougat) i was able to connect my S8 via USB to my Car-Radio (not screen mirroring). i could just use it like a usb-dock to hear music. now this is not working anymore, may this be kernel related?

with internal storage you mean data partition? sorry, i forgot. thats a common known issue with twrp , wipe data partition in twrp menu, after that you are able to install custom roms

at first, why did you choose renovate 1.1 when 2.2 is availiable? i would start from scratch again... flash stock rom via odin. boot and test device. there should be no problem, after this, flash twrp again and put latest renovate rom on memory or external usb device. with aroma installation...

Hi, short question. If i open the camera and take photos etc. i can open the gallery from the camera app. but is it possible to only show photos from "DCIM" folder there? I hate seeing every whatsapp image in the camera app. thanks in advance

one question to OP: mwilky i took a glance into the cameradata of the rom and i saw, that there are some deactivated modes like panorama. are thy bugged or would it be possible to enable them before flashing the rom <local name="BACK_CAMERA_SHOOTINGMODE_PANORAMA_SHOT" value="false" />...

:D :D :D i don't think alexis does this especially for you.. tmobile is a problem in every rom. most roms are developed for the main percentage of devices. international devices as g920F are the most used. every other device is a small part in this development section. if you cant make a call...

i found something, i use unlock with fingerprint via rom controls. when i receive a message and AC Display pops up i can't use this feature. also it seems my fingerpringt doesn't get recogniced even if i unlock with the power button. i always have to type my pin.

so i installed nne 2.1 and s8 style zip. looks good, except the lockscreen weather clock. is it possible to not display the minutes under the hours, i like them next to them... edit: i also can't see the seconds, even after reboot.

i unrooted my device, because i had to do some stuff.. flashing supersu.zip provided in the rom stuckst at "creating image" does anyone face the same behaviour? edit: mount -o bind /dev/urandom /dev/random in terminal in twrp helped

Solved!! i replaced the msgstore.db and wa.db in the folder /data/data/com.whatsapp/databases with the old ones. before doing that, don't forget to rename the files to msgstore.db.*** and wa.db.*** (***=bak or old) changed right permissions, cleared cache etc and restartet whatsapp
