    Post [ROM][10.0.0_r41]LineageOS 17.1 for Realme X2 Pro (RMX1931/CN)[UNOFFICIAL]

Problem with OGG files. I have a strange problem with this ROM (all versions, including the most recent) where I can't play Ogg Vorbis files with Shuttle. There isn't anything wrong with the Ogg files, they play fine with VLC or Poweramp. Shuttle can read the metadata tags, but when I try and...

    Post [ROM][10.0.0_r41]LineageOS 17.1 for Realme X2 Pro (RMX1931/CN)[UNOFFICIAL]

What launcher are you using? I've found this to be the case using anything but the stock launcher on any Q ROM, even on my Pixel.

    Post [ROM][10.0.0_r41]LineageOS 17.1 for Realme X2 Pro (RMX1931/CN)[UNOFFICIAL]

For me, the key was formatting Data after flashing Lineage. I went through a lot of attempts before I figured this out. My process: 1.) Boot to Recovery (I used OrangeFox, but TWRP should be same). 2.) Format Data 3.) Reboot Recovery 4.) Install Lineage - you have two options. You can use...

    Thread Problem Flashing H3223

Hello, I was running SailfishOS on my H3223, but I decided to go back to Android. I used the EMMA tool, and restored the latest "service" to the device. Everything worked perfectly. Then, I flashed Lineage 17.1, and again, everything worked, and I used the ROM for several days until I...

Post Bluetooth Problem with new X821

I've now also tried the unbrick method here. Still no go on Bluetooth. If this phone is actually an X829, like the "fake" thread linked above states, is there a different ROM for the X829? Would that help me with Bluetooth?

Thread Bluetooth Problem with new X821

I recently received a new X821 (Probably one of these fake / misrepresented phones). I opened it up, charged it, stuck the sim card in and tested it out. Made a couple of phone calls, tested the wifi. Everything seemed to be working great. The one thing I didn't test is Bluetooth. I...

    Post LineageOS 15.1 (Android 8.1.0) for S7 herolte build 53 18.20.2020.

I know it probably won't be a popular opinion, but I'm going to side with kefhu on this. Having the "Not Working" list empty is misleading, because there are things that don't work with this ROM. Changing it to look like: may reduce the number of "Is VoLTE working" questions that get posted.

    Post LineageOS 16.0 for S7 build 30

I still have problems with my external sdcard on this latest build. If I have the camera (OpenCamera) set to save pictures to the sdcard, it will work for awhile, and then eventually, OpenCamera will swap to the internal storage. Ditto with ringtones. I normally just store ringtones on the...

    Post LineageOS 16.0 for S7 build 30

Alright, turns out it was already formatted to vFat. I tried F2FS, but it didn't work at all. I formatted it back to vFat using the Storage settings. It's slow to access. Once I've accessed it, transfer speeds are normal, but the initial access is slow. For example, I usually use either...

Thanks Ivan!! Downloading now. Is HWComposer working in this build? Looking forward to seeing if the BT changes improves the call quality through my head unit. It worked, just not very well. [Edit]Downloaded and dirty-flashed! So far so good. UI seems decidedly snappier, so I'm assuming...

    Post LineageOS 15.1 (Android 8.1.0) for S7 herolte build 53 18.20.2020.

Okay. How about this then: Bluetooth calling on the Head Units in my car and my truck work perfectly with LoS 14.1 on my S7, and are pretty much unusable with LoS 15.1 on my S7. Is that still the problem with my Bluetooth adapter?

    Post [8.1][AOSP] Dirty Unicorns 8.1

This is the first Oreo ROM I've tried, and I have to say, it's nice to finally, finally be back on an AOSP ROM! With all of the Nougat ROM's the bluetooth issues were too big for me to use them. Bluetooth has been perfect on this ROM - I made, and received several phone calls through my...

Thread [Q] What Stock Recovery to use?

My One is S-On, Rooted and has TWRP installed. I tried a few different ROM's, and then went back to my stock nandroid backup. Now I've got an OTA update (to lollipop), but I can't install it because of TWRP. Sadly, I didn't backup my stock recovery, or note what version it was. I have no...

    Post Camera and Speaker Problems

After a few weeks of no sound and no camera, I've finally solved the problem. I took my phone apart, and cleaned it out with compressed air. I polished up the contact points on all the spring type contacts to the back of the case. I put it back together and everything is working!

I seem to be having some random hardware issues with my nexus 5. I've had it for about fourteen months with no problems, but in the last couple of weeks I've started having problems with the camera and the speaker. About 40% of the time the camera works fine. 50% of the time the camera app...

    Post Manual camera

When I disable the stock camera, my shortcut goes away, so I can't select anything. I really like Manual Camera, lots of settings that are easy to get to. It also takes pictures faster than the stock camera. I just wish I could access it from the stock lock screen.

I've been using beta 3 for a couple days after a long while away from PA. I have to say I'm pretty happy with it. I really like Hover. I never used Halo, but Hover seems way more android-like. I don't really care for the floating windows though. I'd rather see that clicking on a hover...

Post Second-gen Nexus 7 to launch in July

I don't see the need for an SD slot. I had a tablet that had one, and I hated it. Some apps could work with it, some had to use the internal memory. Then there was the hassle of remembering what was stored where. I much prefer the seamlessness of no SD slot. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

Post Lollipop! - What features do you want in Android 5.0?

Agreed. This is something Google should have done already. I can already backup an app list for each device to googles servers. I can already sync bookmarks and browser history between devices. I've already got a Google drive account if we need the storage. I should be able to take a picture...

Except when it randomly causes your phone to reboot.:cyclops: I'll be sticking with poweramp though, because raising the minimum cpu to 400 MHz seems to have solved the problem, and had a pretty negligible effect on battery life. Thanks for all the suggestions folks.

Yeah, this works fine, but it's a bit cumbersome. What would be nice is some sort of automated system using google drive / dropbox / whatever. I play World of goo (or any other game) on my phone, and the next time I open it on my tablet, it's already at the latest save point from my phone.
