Does the downgrade wipe the phone or is the user data retained?

Are you factory resetting? If you're on 5.0.x you have to do a factory reset when you switch to 5.1. The odex and deodex data are not compatible between versions.

You should never take an OTA update when on a custom ROM. Most devs remove that functionality from their ROMS anyway.

Don't update Wanam beyond what's in the rom. There's some kind of incompatibility with the latest update that causes the boot issue. R

Has anyone noticed that when on a call on 2.3 the volume adjust doesn't work? Had it happen a few times now. Moving the slider up or down doesn't do anything.

FWIW, I just checked my Note 3 and it's 14.01. The hardware is still Rev 7. Doesn't seem like the Rev changes much.

I've been running the 1/11/12 ROM with the Anthrax kernel since it came out and have had a steady degradation in performance with Energy. Just curious if others have had similar experiences. Initially it ran great then I found that my wifi would drop overnight and my podcasts wouldn't update...

In regards to all this flashing.... When flashing a2sd, you mount SDcard Then when flashing Anthrax, you mount data Is that only one mount at a time? Or do you need both?

Thanks for the response. I've wiped everything...including running Caulkin's format all script. Still no go. Next thing I will try is another SD card formatted at 1024... Does the radio/wimax/etc versions matter at all?

Reflashed RLS4 and it's working now...

Wiped both with RA 1.8 and in the system too..same result.

Is there anything specific to these ROMs that might tie it to a specific radio version? Back in my WinMo days we used to have to copy a DLL specific to the radio we used if we used a radio other than what the ROM builder built in. Is it something similar with Myn's releases or it just doesn't...

FWIW, my understanding is that the battery tweak doesn't work with the stock kernel and will actually cause quicker depletion. The noHAVS kernel is the correct one for the tweak.

Even with this config set up, it doesn't always launch. I just did a fresh install of 6/12 Cookie and when I press Talk, the START briefly flashes in the upper left corner and then goes away...and that's it.

Anyone? I have the Dec 25th on now, and it's still doing it. Yahoo was set to pull 7 days, but it had pulled 1000 messages dating as far back as June. Setting it to 7 days or a month makes no difference. It slowly pulls everything. Just prior to loading the Dec 25th ROM, it pulled 1 year. ?!?!?

Email issue... too much mail! One of my phones is running the Dec 4th build and has a weird issue with Yahoo email. It's set for IMAP and to pull only the past 7 days, but it pulls the entire inbox of 1200 messages. Anyone seen this? I tried to set it to 5 days hoping it would truncate...

FWIW, My Fuze that won't work with the Nov 3 release has Rev US01 stamped on it. Build date looks like it might be 10/07/08.

My problem is only with the Nov 3rd one. All others work fine.
