I have the T-Mo PK1 modem on my G935A with this PI3 firmware. Reception and LTE speeds are not any different than with the PI3 modem. Only reason I kept it is because since it's not hurting anything, I figured PK1 is newer than PI3 anyway...at least judging by the other PI1, PI2, then PK1...

It would be nice if AT&T/ Samsung provisioned VoLTE and Wifi Calling on the U firmware. If T-Mo allows it, I think it's just a matter of provisioning the U firmware on the AT&T network.

Nobody responded so I took the plunge. I am happy to report that adoptable storage does work on PI3 G935U firmware on the G935A. It disappointing that AT&T decided to ask Samsung to completely remove adoptable storage from their official firmware.
