    BTW, New Version available this morning 478b http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41243013#post41243013 This version solved my the issue I was having where I could root and unlock the bootloader all the way, so after you get your connectivity issue solved the new version worked...

    yeah Well I can say this issue is not XP related. I normally use 7, but just to take that variable out of the picture, I put the phone back to a signed stock image and ran casual against it with XP and Windows 8 same issue.

    Yep, same issue but this might help you with Odin I have been fighting the same issue. If you are doing this on Windows 7 or XP, plug you Samsung in to your pc in download mode like you were going to attempt to connect to odin. Now launch Device Manager from control panel If you are lucky...
