On 4/17. Clean install with latest opengapps. Camera works sometimes. Taking photos seems to work fine, taking videos either crashes the app or the results are really choppy. Installed some 3rd party camera app called CameraMX. Works fine so far. Edit: disabled and renabled camera app and now...

Thanks. Yeah, I did try to flash them together. I'll give it another try at some point. I feel like I tried 8 different combos. I'll give it a few more goes later this week. Just thought maybe I was missing something obvious. I'll get it figured out.

Great work here guys, looks like lots of people are having luck and submitting good bug reports, etc. I tried searching around and was unable to find a solution. I tried a few different nightlies and upon first boot (tried multiple opengapps packages) Google Play Service constantly crashes...

Just listed my unit on eBay... In great shape. I absolutely loved it, just couldn't get by the old version of Android. Tinkering with generic Chinese import unit now instead. Oh well. Not going to post the link here but it comes with a UNIKA SWC adapter, too.

Well it was a fun ride. I'll be selling my Smart with Unika soon. Got one of those Chinese Klyde (Pumpkin branded) units. Going to give that one a whirl for a while. If interested in my Smart, PM me I suppose. Otherwise it'll just end up on eBay.

FYI: I tried dirty flash from updater, went OK. Gapps were broken. Tried to then flash the 4.3 Gapps, and hung on cyanogenmod logo for 15+ minutes so I started from scratch. All is fine aside from known redraw, etc.

Works well on my JXD S7300, however, the controls are a little wonky. Having to steer and accelerate with the same analog stick is not good. Wish I could use one of the YXBA buttons for gas.

Yeah I got stuck at the failed network connection, too... Had to ADB, too. I will give this another go this week with melo_mx's method.

Yeah, I found that to be the case sort of. Still other crashing and I want to use my keyboard!

I had a go at this rom and it was just too shaky for me atm. Tons of crashing, etc. Went back to stock for now. Stable stock with just cifs would make my day.

Both seem like great devices. I personally don't really care about the s pen, I probably won't use it much. But I do like the multi-window and large battery of the Note 2.

I got one of the screen protectors... ordered one that was supposed to cover the screen and bezel and have a hole for the camera, etc... got one that just covered the touch screen... not realizing this, i went to install it and put it on and had to recheck my order as i was a little...

I had an iPad and sold it specifically to get my G-Tablet. I loved the iPad but am really into tinkering - so the G-Tablet was more my speed. It's not perfect which is oddly what I kind of like about it. If money is no object and you are just looking for a toy to use like a "normal person"...

I had the thin notification balloon a few times but I found that I can clear it by clicking the battery meter. Give it a try.

+1 thanks for the vids... I am impatiently awaiting mine. Should arrive at work tomorrow or Thurs. I had an iPad and your videos helped convince me to take the leap to Android.
