The theory would be reproducing a 1080p screen as opposed to a 2k screen so it doesn't push the processor as much. I don't even know if it would work, which is why I'm asking. But I don't think it would work that way huh.

I have this case too and I like it. FYI the white case is just as shimmery as the OEM white backplate. Hell, Spigen calls it "Shimmery White..." Oh and it's $9.99 right now...

The Skinomi one on Amazon (link) works great and has rounded edges. My only complain is that there is a 1mm gap on each side, but is not that noticable.

Just got mine today too. The fit is good although there is a 1mm gap on each side. I love how the edges are curved though. Definitely worth the money.

I did....even called BB today to see when they can pick it up, but my location told me they didn't even get them in yet. I checked online again and now their site says "Release date not announced" where it used to say Pick up 7/17/14. I'm not a happy camper right now.

The only benefit to pre-ordering is to guarantee a device (or anything else for that matter) on or by launch day. That way you don't have to wait in line or risk having the device be sold out by the time you are able to pick it up. I just order everything through BB and get in-store pickup.

You've downloaded an app that is installing those ads on your phone. It's not the ROM. You'll need to either download an app to remove those ads or you can wipe your phone and install your safe apps one by one.

The 1.6 changelog says that we no longer need to install gapps since Carbon now backs everything up. Do we still need to install gapps when updating TO 1.6?

Not sure if this is still relevant but I like to wipe my battery stats every now and then. I let it fully charge, then wipe my stats then let it run until it almost dies, then I recharge overnight. I like to use the battery calibration app...
