The unlock process creates a large number of small partitions on the SD card. I was having trouble getting Windows disk management to open with the card inserted, so I used MiniTool Partition Wizard (free) to remove all partitions from the SD card and create a new single partition.

You have to have Google keyboard installed and enabled, but you don't have to use it. I use SwiftKey pretty much exclusively.

Any way to reclaim some of the lockscreen space after disabling the navbar? I use pattern unlock and my widget gets all bunched up at the top even though the screen has plenty of room to expand downwards. More of a nitpick than a dealbreaker, really.

Play with it a little more, you'll see what I mean (or you won't). I thought it was working too, but it really depends on the speed at which the picture is taken after touch focusing (touching the area on the screen, then pushing the take photo button).
