Did you use kingoroot or kingroot? Its two different apps. I used kingroot to get my rooted. Losing imei with root app never seen that happend. Wasnt it after the flash that it was lost? Mtk_droid_tool can fix that in no time... User space will be the same. System partition will have more room...

Yes Link2sd works perfecly but its just a workaround isnt it?! No good rom should need using it... + stock icons are too ugly :p ... Im happy with the rom from this thread. Just need to fix sensors but i dont miss it at all.

Looks like its dead! cm12.1 looks also dead! Official LL rom its like garbage for 4gb variant so... Its time for hardware change :)

You can flash the official rom on the 4gb variant and you can also flash this de debloated and deodexed version also. The issue you will have is that you will have only 1.2gb of storage. On official LL rom it wont even update the pre-instaled apps. With this one it will be able to update all of...

I just found out now that this rom's offline charging isn't working so maybe this is the reason that the OS boots after connected to the usb and make some kind of bypass through the flash tool (i realy do not know if this makes any sense :p im just a user not a dev) Already tried with...

That explains a lot lol... thats why i can only use cwm flash!! I use this rom since beta4 release 1st day and i was thinking on trying other project (lollipop aosp) how can i make the sp_flash_tool work again using this rom. By the way keep up the great work. Cant wait for beta5 :)

Yes i've tried every usb port (3.0 and 2.0) also tried with an usb hub. It must be something wrong with the phone... What does affect the flash tool? Is it the kernel? The boot.img? I have a working cwm but if i flash a diferent ROM and it gets bricked i dont have a working flash tool to...

Already try that. Same result. Im having a strange behavior. The phone actualy boots up after sp flash tool detects the usb connection. Maybe something is very wrong with this rom, but how does it afect the flash tool?! Have to try it on windows! For now im stuck in this one!

After i follow this tutorial all was working fine but now it doesnt work anymore! Has anything been changed by sp flash tool? Now the phone goes to battery charge after connecting it to the laptop! No errors in terminal... PS: it happend after flashed a cyanogenmod rom. Dont know if it has...

This thread is from 2012... 3 years later in 2015 and not a single mtk flash tool was developed for linux... i bet using a windows based phone it will be easyer to find that kinda tool :eek:
