The Samsung Galaxy S4 uses a micro SIM while the OP3T uses a nano SIM so yeah, new card is in order. At the very least you'll have to cut down the car you have.

Looks like the next version out will be the OnePlus 5 (4 is an unlucky number in Chinese, hence the 3T). If they are putting the new Snapdragon 835 in there and you don't need a phone in a hurry, come April you may just want to wait a bit more. There may be better specs out by then, too.

That may be a great idea (IPv4). As far as I know, T-Mobile is the only one that has blocked tethering on the N5 and needs the workaround.

OK, my question before I go forth... I have the command to set owner back to system for settings.db (chown system.system settings.db) but where do you enter this? I don't see anywhere in ES File Explorer to do this. Is there another piece of software needed for this part?

I would really like to use Chrome but I have pretty much the same issues. It seems like it uses a lot of system resources and ends up hanging and being very, very slow. So, I have fallen back to Opera Mobile. It just works.

OK, so I tried the 6-24 install again today and the Wi-Fi calling seems to be settled down and working this time around. I don't know what was wrong the fist time but I'm all good and up-to-date now. It sure is taking a long time to do the backup though (getting too many apps, I reckon :o )

Yes, that's the one I'm using that gave me the issues.... WifiCallingICS.zip. I'd have to reinstall 6-24 again to say what was wrong but I think I mentioned it back shortly after 6-24 came out. I believe it just wouldn't run or FC'd. It works great on 6-7 though.

I have this same issue on the June 7 version. I just never used it since I use the Bricked kernel. The reason I'm not on June 24? My Wi-Fi Calling doesn't work on that. Hoping NRG gets that fixed for the next release. It's a must have in my life.

Here is a page on Theunlockr that really helped my when I first got my Android. This page gets you S-Off, Flash Recovery and Root. That links to another page that goes through loading a ROM. It got me from total Android noob to installing a custom ROM so I'd say it's pretty good and easy info.

Is anyone else having trouble with wifi calling? I have the ICS version that works great on Energy 6-7 but not on the 6-22 version. In fact, it uninstalled it. I re-installed (from backup) and it won't run. I restored Energy 6-7 and it works there again. Any ideas? BTW, I have Bricked 1.1...

I've been using a BXT DPD G14 I found on eBay for 5 or 6 months now and it works very well. Fits with the original back and all. This is (supposed to be) a 2300 mAh batt. Even if it's not a full 2300 mAh batt., it still works pretty good and for $8, it ain't bad.

I've been running Energy ICS 4.0.3 with the Bricked Kernel at 1.5 MHz x2. It's looking and working great and seems very stable. Aren't we all happy that there are so many great ROMs to choose from?

All the above is good and true. I'd like to add that I always make a ROM backup with ROM Manager before I update my ROM. That way, if something should go wrong, I can get back to where I was before the update.

MS is really betting the farm on this one. If they can't get people to except the Metro UI on the desktop and people opt for Android or an iDevice over Windows phones and tablets, they're going to be in a world of hurt. Personally, no, I don't like the redesign.
