Yes, this option does force to always start the GPS driver, instead of looking other sources of location: Settings - Location - turn On - Mode (set Device only) I'll stay with this option until another update comes up, maybe Oreo..

I just installed a new gingerbread ROM and guess what.. Using push, wi-fi all the time, gps, 1h youtube video, sms, video call... The battery never ends!! As I'm writing the battery is still 15%. It's amazing the gingerbread in terms of battery consumption. Obviously, something in the other ROM...

When I install a new rom the battery stats are always deleted? Or it depends?

Maybe it's fast I really can't tell the difference! It's fast enough... :) Now I know that when data from COM0 is corrupted I only have to reset and the problem is solved.

Not that I've bad reception but after all this time from htc to post an answer to gps issue I had to install it and tried it.. Did not tested yet, tomorrow will post if I see any difference! Maybe it will take longer, cause it cleans the gps data all the time i reset. Or am I wrong...

I've installed the cab bellow and guess what?! PROBLEM SOLVED :D Basically this cab replaces htmlnote file in windows folder, use at your own risk..

after using the rom for a while i think i have to adapt to new icon set. The default background of 1.7 is available which is great! TF3D clock and icons more clear type and faster showing tabs info. The new feature of more options is great, more TF3d stylish!

yes, "like" i mean in the same efficient and elegant way that 1.7 worked for me, for example! New icon set is cool and the language is not very different from portuguese :D

Yep, that's the problem, for sure! Software conflict, drivers... But I just think that is a problem for HTC, not for the end-user. The lag is present in official ROM and with cooked ones too, so the problem isn't there. Before putting any product in the market, HTC should hard test and...

I Agree too, reset this topic! My Conclusion: The GPS of HTC Touch Diamond is very poor! It was an error changing to HTC, when Sony Ericsson is the best! Not expecting all agree, but that's my opinion, I'm going to sell it and buy the Xperia1! :rolleyes:

Not working answering with keys. I soft reset after writing registry and i also changed other registries and they all worked. The path is hkey_current_user/software/ZuinigeRijder/LockSettings and the DWORD is LockTouchPanelOnly with decimal value = 1. I'm going to install the TouchLockPro...

Maybe it's the aluminum... An antenna has to be a conductor. The back cover it's only plastic, it cannot flow any current! :o But if it's solved for you, great! :p
