Looking for kitkat or lolipop unoficial custom roms, are there any? can only find jelly kat rom but says the android version is still the same.

The original OS itself ocupys 3GB that can't be used. So I'm left with 1GB. Then android leaves stuff on the main card for some reason. I install all aps on SD but it always leave something on the main memory. At the moment I can't upgrade even my apps on SD because google play downloads first...

Can someone confirm me if booting will fix my main issue with HTC Desire 500? (Lack of space on the main storage) The current OS floods the main storage and makes this phone almost impossible to use. Yes I have an SD Card inserted as well. Best regards!
