i flashed this rom, i saw update checker in the settings of this rom. if this dosnt work. how could i get notified about the update? and should i also flash the updated os?

tried to flash V3.0, following the procedure, after hitting "flash"option it just goes black screen(shuts down maybe) nothing after that. waited at least 10 min. device atu-l42, pixel experience rom.

on-screen procedure in the app just wants me to go to recovery and boots into recovery thats it. nothing after that.

signal bar works perfectly in 3g and shows H/H+ in my atu-l42 in pixel experience rom. and GPS is working without any issues. fingerprint also working without any issues, but its working as home button also, which can not be disabled. Those are not explained in that list, all of those infos...

i need to root my huawei y6 2018 (ATU-L42) using magisk. so i need to patch the ramdisk of this device. a searched a lot but nothing is working . cat /proc/partitions is giving me list of all the partition without naming them. thats why i dont know from then which one is ramdisk.img

I unpacked all the .img file and tried to patch one bye one. nothing worked. :)

searched like for 6-7 hours, but coudnt find the full firmware. huawei doesnt allow to download the full firmware. then tried to pull boot image though adb root access. but y6 doesnt support by-name partition system. feeling so hopeless now. :( :( :( :(

was only sharing my thoughts. only thing i need to disable is that fingerprint sensor working as home button.any way to disable that? and rooting is another thing. if i want to patch ramdisk with magisk. it needs my boot.img file in order to patch. from where i can get that? :confused...

The root excess just allows in adb mode. no super user support also. fingerprint sensor works as home button, like when playing games, if i accidentally touch on fingerprint sensor, it goes straight at home screen. any way to disable that? battery also draining so fast. customization option is...

had to explore google and its done now. everythings good so far except notification light not working. and the camera app has no extra functions, like no hdr, panorama etc. camera app needs a lot of work to be done.
