fota is a temp folder. once installed, the update is gone i think. i dont think verizon pushes u to the latest. i think u have to get them in progression and if u cant get the next update installed, u cant get to the mj2 to catch it. ..at least, thats my problem

fwiw, i've been able to capture but not install the update zip for the mf1 update. still, no luck with fixing my mismatched baseband mj2 with the ma3 build. tried to install the files form posts 165 and 198, tried unrooting, tried triangle away to get the official ota updates and get it back...

got a 6.5.3 tp2 with about 50 additional programs runnin off the card. figured I'd clean up the fone's registry..using SK Tolls Lite. sooo, 6 at a time (since the lite version only lets u delete that many at a time), I deleted everything the cleaner would find...thinking the registry backup...
