Is it any app or just 1 specific ? ... I encountered that for 1 specific app ... which was my file manager ... it had root permissions & I made an update .. that screwed it up :D . I had to recover a backup of it & disable root permsion so I could update .... otherwise check this...

From my expirenece custom roms are totally unneccary on up to date devices.... if you want customisation get xposed installer .... stock rom gives you stability & all features .... debloat with titanium and youre totally fine .... get your neet extra features with xposed isntaller & gravity box...

you wont get rid of all of it ... its pretty annoying ... I rooted and used titanium backup to debloat .... now no unneccary stuff runs in the background =P ... I dont get why apps like twitter must stay on the device -.- .... what damn nonesense

Haha yea I dont get it either ... i have both notes [ 2012 & 2014 ] its a huuuge improvement ... when I open the browser on my old one it takes 5- 10 seconds to load up ... the 2014 edition does have no loading times ;) it starts up instantly.... but this is the only thing ... sime minor...

Tasker is a great programm ;) ... since I discovered it .. its basicly the programm which handles everything ... ;) All you need is tasker ;) ....

both firmwares are basicly the same ... on note pro you have "magizine ux" ... I dotn know why this even has a name ... its just flipboard which does not work properly as a widget... and you have hancom office ... thats it... well and 4 multiwindow capaility ... but that wouldnt make sense on...

More ram usage is a sign of more services running.... which means there is loads of stuff running in your background.. If I dont run a single app my ram has 1.3 Gig ram left... go to application manager and check whats running... if you see stuff you dont need freeze it with titanium backup...

The problem might lie in the usage of a certain app... dolphin browser for example... enable flash on it and your tablet drops 10 percent a minute or more :D ... you should look if the tablet is draining also by doing nothing by just having the screen on.... there is also the possability of...

ok guys found the culprit ... i was watching some flash videos and now noticed they cause this insane battery drain ... 10 % in 10 minutes .... thats really strange though because on my old note 10.1 that isnst the case ... I also noticed mediaserver is running at the time flash runs .... maybe...

ok thx i will try that ... i also use reading mode and very low screen brightness .. about 15-20 & anything higher is too bright indoors... do u think nova launcher impacts battery life ? im getting near 7 hours max. now probably today ... updated my browser ... but still it will be abit less...

So i got myself the new note 10.1 2014 Editon .. the first thing that shocked me is the very poor battery life ... its half as much as my old note 10.1 ... i got down to 23 % in 4,5 hours [screen on] ... just browsing the web ... with my old one I still get about 8 hours same percentage...

prepare for no more flash support .... :D im not upgrading yet ... since i dont like dolphin browser / firefox btw magazine ux is total useless ... its just widgets which use flipboard app... wow... you really get drowned in bloatware even more with every update ... and they restrict more stuff...

Yes you can use these 2 browsers ... but you are basicly forced to use one of these ... i tested firefox on 4.4.2 it was laggy as hell ...dolphin was very fast but u need to download a hacked flashplayer for it to work.... other apks that use flash dont work at all ;( well if i cant flash...

Hi , i wanted to ask what the latest firmware for the note 10.1 2014 is ? I dont want 4.4 since it disables flash and i dont plan to root/flash yet... not until I find a method that doesnt void warranty .. since im getting a new device I read there was a performance update for wifi version...
