Yes, flash stock firmware, flash twrp 2.6.3.3 if you have a SMP600 (wifi only device) . no need to root actually. Then wipe everything (/system /data /cache /dalvik cache) and install the custom rom of your choice. The problem will be gone then :)

Flash stock 4.4.2 firmware from sammobile via odin first. Known problem and no big deal. The bootloader has to be updated to allow powered off charging.

Flash a stock rom based on 4.4.2 first :) it will update the bootloader and your device will not turn on when you charge it ;) I am on vacation right now to meet my relatives and I don't have a internet connection that often so it could take some time until I can help with problems :)

Yes that will fix it. It does not matter if you are installing twrp after that. Search for "XAR" firmware / Cellular South. That should be the right one from the US :)

Known problem: You was on the android 4.3 rom and flashed a kikkat based rom. You should have flashed a kitkat based stock rom first and then reinstall twrp and then install your custom rom of choise. So to fix your problem: download a stock kitkat rom from sammobile.com and flash it with odin...

Sorry mantrajt but my problem with extracting stock firmwares is not fixed and will have to wait until I have a little time off from my job. :S

Sounds like you have the old bootloader. That is why you should flash the 4.4.2 firmware first so you can charge your device while it is powered off. :) It is not a rom problem, so if you have a little time then flash the official firmware first and then reinstall the recovery + rom.

Superuser app and binaries are included. To install a custom rom you need a custom recovery which triggers knox. So no matter what you do, if you want to run a custom rom your knox couner will be tripped.

As far as I remember you can choose in the aroma installer if you would like to have the Touchwiz launcher or the MagazineUX launcher :)

It is a firnware issue. Older firmwares were having multitouch/touch problems. Flash a newer firmware from sammobile and it will be good. The newer kernel in those firmwares fixes the problem completly

Yeah thats possible, thanks for reporting. As I dont have a chromecast I can not test those things. Can you try to provide a logcat?

Try to clear the data and the cache inside the app settings menue. Never had that problem nor heard about it :P

you need a file explorer with superuser permissions to mount the system partition as RW. use es file explorer, you can find the root option under "tools". please do not quote the whole OP.

Wipe everything in recovery, boot your tab to download mode and flash a stock firmware from sam mobile via odin. No way to reset the knox counter

Not much of a difference I guess, just the keyboard of a newer firmware. You can use what you want :)

Yeeeah I am also waiting for having time to develop again :) i have removed the music app from my rom because someone had lots of FC's with it but it always runs fine for me so I might include it again to the add-on package :good:

the keyboard yes, the music app not. my rom is slimmed down to a barebone so users can choose what apps they want.

the odex file contains code from the original keyboard. delete it because it does not work with the new one which was deodexed so the classes.dex is inside the apk. Do the installation again and it should work.

Daynote works fine when you have SPlanner installed so no real problem :)

Memo app does not seems to be needed :)

Smart Stay works fine for me, there is no constant icon but it shown an icon when your face gets recognized. Edit: I am using the stock kernel.

I made a logcat to figure out what is going on there and right before the force close the calender gets an error message. does it work for you without the splanner?

Fixed! Fixed it :good:, install my rom and choose from the extension pack the SPLanner 2013. there are 2 apps so please install both. :) It works fine afterwards, tested it with a magnet but without case :D

Daynote is included by default actually, but I can not test it myself cause I do not have a Case which works with magnets. Maybe you need the Daynote apk from the Note 12.2... because I have not removed anything which is related to daynote. Does daynote work with 3rd party launchers on stock...
