It prompts me to download additional content, but then gives me a "Download Failed" message with "Progress has been saved. Reconnect then relaunch app to continue download."

Every time I click on the app SetCPU, it tells me it gets SU permissions, or something similar. Does that mean that in between the times I just so happen to click on the app, my SetCPU profiles are no longer active? Is it being killed by the system? And if so, how do I stop this?

More importantly without the USB cable? I was sent one in the mail and didn't get the transfer cable so now I can't root through debugging or whatever. Is there something I can do using just an SD card and running stuff off of that?
