Hey, so I recently updated through the stock tar to TW 4.4, and I noticed that the option to change the compiler isn't available. Anyone know if it's possible to switch from dalvik to ART on TW 4.4?

Has anyone flashed this while on a 4.4 aosp ROM and had it work? Just wanna confirm lol. I don't have the Knox bootloader though

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I'm still on 6/11 with jellybam 8 and I don't have any sound issues as far as I can tell.

I've been running 6/11 along with jellybam and I've gotta say great work man. Battery life is definitely comparable to voldemorts kernel (you know) on aosp. Plus you're not a sellout, and that in itself is awesome lol

I think he's being sarcastic. Basically, group sms doesn't actually work natively in 4.1.2. It's something Google added in 4.2.2

When they say 2 gb to 16 gb, is it Ok if my 2 gb sd card actually has 1.83 gb of storage space? Also, at which point on THESE instructions will I actually be s-off, because I wanna get s-off from racun but I wanna root a different way.

Is group sms working for anyone else on any of these mms apps? I'm on stock, but group sms isn't working for me on any of the messaging apps

Hey guys, just had a couple questions: 1) does ktoons kernel shut off both cores during deep sleep, or does it only shut off one? 2) do all these tweaks work just as well on aosp?

Is anyone using the acid audio mod with this ROM? I tried using the stock rom version of the mod yesterday but it had serious force close issues. I was wondering if maybe I'm supposed to use the aosp version (for whatever reason) or the ROM is just incompatible with it?

The 0 folder shouldn't have made a difference anyhow, because I was flashing the ROM from my ext-sd card. Plus, I couldn't boot so I couldn't check for a 0 folder anyways. Regardless, I ended up just flashing stock tar with odin, and im in the process of re-rooting. Thanks anyways :P

So, my mom is getting her upgrade in 2 weeks and I was thinking of giving her my gs3 and getting an evo. I like the build quality, screen, and camera, and its something new. I just wanted to know if anyone that owns an evo has any input on whether I should do this. Also, it'd be cool if you guys...

Do you have any screenshots or stats of your battery life? I'm thinking about switching my gs3 for my mom's evo but I want to make sure that the battery life won't be much worse.

Try this I guess: 1. Wipe data/factory reset 2. Wipe system 3. Wipe cache 4. Wipe dalvik 5. Flash ROM 6. Flash Gapps 7. Flash kernel cleaner 8. Flash Kernel 9. Wipe cache and dalvik cache 10. Fix permissions 11. Reboot :D

But that option is there for TouchWiz too. The aosp issue has something to do with an incorrect apn or something like that

You need more than just the pa preferences app but I'm not a dev so I don't know all the details. The app in the play store is for people who already have pa and want to donate and get some extra beta features

I could be wrong, but when he announced that, pa 3 hadn't gone open source yet, but now it is. Hopefully that means that it will in fact be added at some point. To add pa in yourself, you would have to use the source and build from it I believe.

No, I think you just have to wait until it's added back in to the ROM. 5.1 doesn't work for our device. Gio is gonna release 5.2 which fixes the issue.

It's aosp, but with the option of using the TouchWiz launcher. No actual TW features though.
