Hi everyone, I've used a Sprint-branded Galaxy S8 since release. I'd been with Sprint forever, but just recently made the jump to T-Mobile. I replaced my Sprint SIM with a TMO SIM, and everything has been working fine since. A couple of questions now... a) Will I be getting my software updates...

From the little I've been able to find so far, "App Stack" is something that is installed on only the Sprint variant of the Galaxy S8. Beyond that, I can't find anything. It IS an app that I can uninstall. It weighs in at 47.76MB, and appears useless to me. I'd prefer to dump it. Oddly enough...

Well, I did it today.. unrooted, went back to full stock everything... and I still cant change the NFC setting on my S5. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm more than open to anything at this point...

I was able to try a different battery today... from someone else with an S5, and the same problem exists. My next step is to try unrooting and going back to complete stock... obviously I'd like to avoid this if at all possible. Any other suggestions? Anyone?

Yes. And when I did a complete wipe and re-install, I was able to verify that its happening with the stock kernel also, so I don't believe it to be a kernel issue.

Just a follow up here... I've also tried a complete wipe of the device... still no go.
