I started again from scratch and ipdev's partition file still fails. Can you link me to a copy? Maybe the one I downloaded from ipdev's post is corrupted? Or do I need to unmount all the drives before I flash his partition file?

I am getting "partition fail" error after I flash Ipdev file. I thought it was normal but then I tried to flash the rom and it flashed. But when I tried installing the latest gapps nano I get an error, the error is below. Is the inpdev file suppose to give a failed error? Is that how it works...

According to the instruction in the link, it says to put the config file in the /sdcard/Open-GApps folder. Am I correct to assume that I need to place the file in the Open-GApps folder after the device boots up after flashing everything?
