Wiping Dalvik AND cache in TWRP fixed the bootloop for me.

No cache.img in 7.1.2. Just wipe dalvik/cache in TWRP and that will fix the bootloop.

Thanks. That was the problem... Its the Lollipop style to be exact. I switched back to stock Android theme and Gmail composing worked again. Then I went back to the themes nd applied everything but the style for the Lollipop theme and all is still good.
