idprophecy get rid of OMS get rid of ambient display (completely senseless on a non OLED panel) get rid of round icons / pixel stuff > these things are only eyecandy with zero to even less benefit however do NOT get rid of useful things that deliver what this ROM stands for (batterlife and...

Using it since days 1 and I think I will stick with it until the arrival of Android O. I was a hardcore Exodus fan before, but since they obviously stalled development massively there are hardly any other well engineered and slim and thoughtfull Nougat ROMs out there. This is one of the few...

no need to apologize. after all it's your ROM ;) yeah. themeing isn't something i'm really into... plus masquerade is an additional app. getting rid of default apps is a great idea - see: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/themes-apps/lineageos-debloat-script-t3546519 what I would...

I set my OPO to go into power save mode when it reaches 15% battery. When I turned it on today it lagged pretty bad and the screen was flickering. I also wasn't able to turn off power saving mode since the settings switch was toggling itself on and off. A restart fixed this problem. LOS problem...

Thread LineageOS 14.1 Nougat Debloat Script [06/22/17]

I have no need for the standard apps that come with LineageOS (formerly CM), because these apps are replaced by Gapps anyways. So I created a script that you can flash immediatelly after flashing a new ROM in order to have a clean install and remove these apps from the system. Credits Gawd for...

Could I suggest one thing? I can't stand the default bundled apps like CM browser, music, audioFX, screen recorder, calendar and email. I mean who needs these apps when you have Gapps? Why do I need Chrome, Firefox etc. AND CM browser? Why do I need a crappy music app? Why a useless calendar and...

Post [ROM] [DISCONTINUED] idprophecy's unofficial optimized LineageOS 15.1 builds

Yes you should ;) That's a great concept. Making a ROM stable and battery friendly is the top reason for me and many other ppl to go for custom ROMs. Of course there are enthusiasts that tend to go for ROMs with as many features and functions as possible, but that's a bad approach. With regards...

idprophecy: I read through the thread - however I'm not any smarter than before. So what is the special thing with your ROM apart from the way of how it is compiled? In what ways does that show? Is it smoother? Does it last longer? What makes it special?

RajaMu: great 2108 build. Very smooth so far. I also like that the Masquerade App has been removed from the app drawer! Very nice. Was quite annoying to me. One other thing: Exodus Updater has its own submenu - so why don't remove the app from the drawer? Give a much cleaner look. Thank you...
