it doesn't seem to work on a stock rom i am running 2.73.405.66 and it just wont boot, when i used shenshang update.zip it gets stuck on some app2sd error, and when i used myboot from Soaa- it just stuck without any useful error in logcat

if i may suggest, in a next release you could create an apps folder in tools and move things like titanium backup, astro, etc there? (to keep the tools folder little less crowded and clean)

damn! :) i am wondering, you know that after a wipe and flash of the new rom, phone usually starts with mobile connection ON (and so starts transfer of data), can we somehow force this OFF ? (i only asking because there are some providers that would charge you pretty nice for transfer of 15kb...)

thx for the info, i successfully cooked my 1st rom :) (from 2.73.405.66 release keys) all went well, i flashed the upy to date.zip, started using the rom, but when i try to use app that requires root, "app" with SU request pops, but seems to froze, i can only jump to home screen via Home button...

Just out of curiosity 2. Add root permissions 3. Add task killer tweak for speed (stock boot.img only) does that mean when i apply/add root via 2 step, i cant use/add 3 step ? (because 2 step does some changes to the boot.img if i am not mistaken)

the weather widget problem is probably just your ROM related, i would suggest doing a factory wipe via amon ra's recovery and then flashing a new rom (preferably modaco's 2.9 at the time of writing or rooter HTC Generic 2.73.405.38, thats what i use atm)

this animation was removed in "second series" of htc firmware, they ware removed in update that gave us the performance boost and made hero more responsive, etc. In my case i don't miss it, but in my eyes its a "scam" from htc side, because all htc videos about hero, contains this animation, and...

yesterday i couldn't enable edge, so i needed to reboot my phone (then it work) today i couldn't to any of my im accounts via meebo, so i rebooted and it work after a hour or so hole meebo crashed (force close ...) so thats my experience with the latest rom + radio oh and edge + trackball bug...
