I'm on AOSP build of 7.1.1 and this happens for me as well. It doesn't turn on after switching to flight mode and back, it used to till 6.0. Might be something in the source itself and not RR specific

Also could you add just the advanced reboot option? Everything else,stock is fine but the advanced reboot is very helpful,sometimes due to missed timing instead of booting into recovery the phone reboots into system and that's annoying
