I was kind of surprised I thought it sounds better than My A71, at least to me it does. I know samsung has never been known for their sound quality but this does sound a bit better, but It's no flagship quality.

So i just got the new A705MNXXASK5 update it said to re do my fingerprints for the scanner, so i cleared out the old ones and now it wont finish registering fingerprints. It says I should remove my tempered glass... just I just literally replaced the tempered glass last week......What a pain in...

I'd DEFINITELY run an antivirus on that before using it. I got $5 that says it's got spyware pre installed.

I have the A70 and it's a South American version and I love it. You'll probably never notice a difference ever, with the exception of Samsung pay. That will not work with phones outside your home region. If that doesn't bother you than go for it. If it does bother you than wait... or wait a bit...

Ohhhhhh when the screen is black.... That is under the lock screen. I turned on the always on display and there is a notifications tab there too.

No problem... I had issues getting notification sounds into my phone. Mind you i'm using Nova launcher so this might change things a bit....There is the notifications under the settings (the gear) also if you click on your default texting service (Samsung? That's what i'm using) in top right...

Are there any large phablet options with a completely flat screen any more? I noticed they all tend to copy Samsung and are trending towards this curved hellish atrocity. IMO this is worse than Bixby.

I got the Avidet one off of Amazon (Sorry i'm new and can't post the link) It works.... But i really can't give it a strong recommendation either.... I literally chipped a corner with my thumb nail. But to be fair I'm sure the others aren't much better. If anyone finds a better tempered glass...

I have the SM-705MN and i can confirm that samsung pay WILL NOT WORK here in the USA. I was wondering if anybody had the M or W and if it worked on theirs? And if so could we swap firmware? or even possibly change the CSC with out flashing the firmware?

I would like to know this too. I have the SM-A705MN and was thinking of giving the A705M (canada) a try. I was hoping to get samsung pay to work by doing this.
