Have u disabled the app called "My Interests". If yes then u need to enable it back again to reset it to a single wallpaper on the lockscreen. It is needed to get it working back again. See if it helps :)

It actually depends on what n how u like to use ur phone.. i wud advice to do a nandroid of ur current rom and flash this.. if u like it then its well n good if not u can revert to ur old rom. :)

No you don't need to flash kernel.. Just download the rom from the above link.. its the latest MM and odin flash it. I assume you want to keep it stock :)
