Its probably because majority of the people dont work or dont use the phone outside much. Even if they do they just assume the screen visibilty is worse at sunlight which is true but I work outside and notice it a lot.

I wonder if this is real feature since some people dont notice it. On my lux app the only time the grey text gets even whiter when I put a flash to the light sensor and the meter(?) goes up to 30000 lumins

I had the G2 G3... Non of them had this problem/feature... Well this is my 2nd G4 and its still there... Unless I get rid of this problem how can I get rid of the phone without paying the restocking fee??

Thats what Ive been saying to everyone! At least someone thinks the same way I do! I told the tmobile rep how the frick can that be a feature??? I would understand higher contrast to make it more visible but low contrast just doesnt make sense...

I use google keep for my main home screen and I hate how it fades out... At least give us an option to turn it on and off... Is there a hidden settings in the phone where I can change it maybe?? I'm try to find something myself as well.

I don't even think it's fixable with firmware updates... oh and my brightness is on 100% when I test it. I've tried it with auto as well and same thing with the first G4 and the new G4 I switched out. I would hate to pay a restocking fee of $50 just to return the phone.... LG what should I do?!

I do understand that android system accesses the media server. The thing is why is it draining more battery then it should?? My nexus 4, note 1, note 2, didnt have this problem..

I don't know... I doubt they'll ship overnight for the people that received the email yesterday(including myself). I think they'll ship it 2 days for the the LL3's and for the new orders they'll say that the processing time is 2 days for the new orders then ship out the new orders. Just my guess...

Best rom I've used so far. The only thing is Music stopped working/crashes all the time. Seems like the Music app has collision with poweramp or bluetooth...

+1 but practice flashing with stock roms first so you don't brick your phone... I learned flashing roms first then I tried the Midnote ICS rom which I highly recommend over all the other roms.
