Post What rom do you want? [S5 NEO]

Yes, a port of Lineage OS 14.1 to Galaxy S5 Neo would be great. Most variants of the Galaxy S5 already have an official Lineage OS ROM.

Post [MOD][5.0/5.1] Volume Boost Xperia Z [Lollipop]

Hi, I installed this mod on my ZL and the external speaker does seem to be louder. I haven't tried the headphones yet. However, the earpiece speaker does not seem to be any louder and the default level is just too low. Is there a way to boost the volume on the earpiece speaker? ---------- Post...

Post [MOD] EXTRA VOLUME BOOST (Increase internal/external speaker and headphone volume)

Hi, a couple of questions about this volume boost mod. 1. Does this work on Lollipop (5.1.1)? 2. I have unlockable BL. I was going to root my device by flashing back to rootable firmware then flashing back Lollipop firmware but because my BL is locked, which files, specifically, do I need to...

    Post [FTF] Xperia ZL (C6506) 4.1.2 - 10.1.A.1.434 - Generic US 1270-7584 R8A Firmware

Can anyone point me to a working link to download the .434 FTF file? I'm currently on the Lollipop .222 build and I have an unlockable bootloader. After reading the forums, it seems the only way to root my phone is to downgrade to .434 first, root and then upgrade back to Lollipop. The links...

Post Low Speaker Volume in the ZL

Hi, Just wondering if anyone can confirm that either of the Loud zip files work correctly without issue on an Xperia ZL that has been updated to the new 5.0.2 build (and the upcoming 5.1 build)? Thanks.

I've recently hit the case where I get the "Insufficient storage" message even though I have ~1GB on the internal SD card and ~4GB on the external SD card. I've cleared caches, uninstalled a couple of apps but still got the message for the one or two apps I was trying to install. I've read in...

Unfortunately, I don't see this. I tried with lulzactive and deadline and min/max freq set to 1209mhz but the 1209mhz frequency is again stuck at the same elapsed time. Every time I refresh the display, only the 1008mhz frequency elapsed time changes.

Post [Q] Samsung Galaxy Ace IIx GT-S7560m

I tried this but I still don't see the max frequency being used. If you refresh the status of how long each frequency state is being used you'll find that the time indicator for 1008mhz would be the only one that is incrementing (and its percentage). The 5% you noted above is most likely a...

So, I've done some experimentation with different kernels of BA2X. Here are my observations. Initial Setup: - Applied DaverMOD6_Root_Deodex.zip using CWM; wiped cache; restarted - Governor set to "performance" - I/O set to "noop" - these were the initial settings after applying the ROM -...

Sure, I got that. But if I do the following 1. Re-install Deodexed/Rooted Australia MH3 ROM 2. Wipe cache only (do not wipe data) would I get the original stock kernel with that ROM and effectively remove all of Mod Pack II X v0.6.2? Would all my apps still remain intact?

So, just to confirm, if I do the following 1. Re-install Deodexed/Rooted Australia MH3 ROM 2. Wipe cache only (do not wipe data) I would get the original kernel with that ROM and all my apps would remain intact (minus Mod Pack II x 0.6.2 stuff)? Taking this a step further, if I then...

I'm not saying one is better than the other. I haven't tried SeannyM's version to make that claim. I'm only relaying my observations. daver18qc stated that he had no problem achieving 1209 MHz with SeannyM's version so I just wanted to try both and report back my findings. daver18qc, if you...

I changed the governor to "performance" and still only the 1008 MHz CPU state was being used. In relative idle mode (staring at the CPU Spy summary screen, I could see the 1008 MHz elapsed time tick upwards but the 1209 MHz elapsed time remained constant. Even when I turned the screen for a...

Thanks, daver18qc. I can try SeannyM's overclocked kernels to see if there is any difference. Just to confirm, with my current configuration (Deodexed Australia MH3 ROM + Mod Pack II x + BA2X 2.0_r1), can I simply install any one of SeannyM's kernels using CWM (for example, ba2x-1228mhz.zip)?

Observations from install of Deodexed Australia MH3 ROM + BA2X 2.0_r1 Hi, I've recently installed Daver18qc's Deodexed/Rooted Australia MH3 ROM and also Codename13's BA2X 2.0 kernel (BA2X 2.0_r1). I don't use the phone for much of anything other than basic functionality (calls, texts)...

So I've installed KyleOpenSS ROM and this is a nice ROM (kudos to SeannyM). I've been using it for a few days and here are some observations. 1. Every time I restart the OS, I get this message "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped" once or twice. However, everything still...

There is one add-on called "All removed APKs". I'd like to install one of the removed APKs in this pack but not the rest. How can I extract and install just the ones that I want? For example, I want to install the voice recorder app. I tried extracting only the "VoiceRecorder.apk" and...

SeannyM, you have 2 links in your signature for KyleSSOpen - one for the ROM and one for the kernel - that both have the same link. Will installing this custom ROM also install the KyleSSOpen kernel? Or does the kernel need to be installed separately?

The point I was going to make, but "daver18qc" beat me to it, is that there is additional battery drain when out of range of my WiFi network. If you leave WiFi on all day but connected to a valid WiFi network, I suspect the battery drain is not nearly as much as having it on but suddenly going...

In using the KyleOpen kernel and V6 supercharger speed-up, can anyone provide battery performance without overclocking? Is it the same as stock ROM? Better? Worse? On a slight tangent, when I unplugged and left home, I noticed a large battery drain but when I got back home, the battery drain...

ROM backup through ROM Manager issue Hi, Thanks to everyone on this thread for helping to root and install CWM on this device. I tried to backup the current (stock) ROM using ROM Manager (from Play Store). The device reboots into recovery mode and begins the backup process. However, at the...
