Guys, I got this phone from my cuz from UK Amazon. Still locked to O2. Apparently, O2 told my cuz that they won't be able to unlock it except wait for 12 months. It seems ridiculous. So I would like to ask the experts here. Is rooting the phone can make it unlock like those samsungs or HTCs?

i've tried Jubeh's Master AOSP 2.0 v3. its really fast but i'm still very keen to wait for the satble version with markets and everything. flashed jubeh's rom this morning. no FC at all but connectivity seem slugish and slow. dunno why, mayb its still beta. i guess all of us will be very anxious...

Why is only cyanogen's rom support for NAV? i tried flashed his 4.2.4 rom and update the map but still no go. the rom boot up without any signal. so i can't try the NAV. is amon going to update his rom with NAV too? man, i'm so curious.
