Well my old streak 7 went in the parts bin from a bad charge port, but got a wifi for cheap recently... I also been playing with win10 and win10ph was just released it has ARM processor support, any thoughts in wiping out these ds7 to win10..?

it seems 1024x600 would be the next size up all the PDFs for data specs on screens i have seen so far are 800x600 the couple i have found in 1024x600 do not have the same 40 pin connector but most of the 800x600 screens do which means these Samsung Screens are highly interchangeable... Granted...

Well my Streak7's Charging port finally broke pins pushed in and just such a waste/poor design on the port... Ebay wants $100 for a replacement port which i can buy another unit for that... so im simply going to run a Micro USB charging port up over the left hand speaker in that lil pullout...

Are you talking about the 30-pin PDMI port that you use to charge the Unit..? Mine just broke yesterday... Im going to run a USB Mini port instead now...

only text & SMS message will work with a "phone plan" on the DS7 otherwise you have to have a data plan or if someone makes it a software to make your device appear as a phone on thenetwork then it would work...

I downloaded the "fastload" zip drivers file... I put the unit into fast loadmode & hook to the pc & it can't find it... do I need the t-mo/dell streak 7 driver installed on the computer first..? My unit has the stock tmo 2.2.2 systems I also downladed the 4g and loading the pkg file & it fail...
