Right, I did get to the bottom of this - looks like a bug with the app. Basically I switched to the selfie cam and then switched back and Photochrom reappeared - woo! This APK has made zero difference to the functionality of it being changed in 10.5.10 - it no longer shows pure infrared like it...

So I did install that apk and now I have no Photochrom option at all. Will get to the bottom of that and report back. This is the EU version so it should have that option enabled.

Ok, found the cause. WireGuard causes the device to reboot immediately when a tunnel is connected *only* with CONFIG_RKP_CFP_ROPP enabled in the kernel. As soon as this is disabled WG works perfectly.

I'd love to - seems like Samsung helpfully broke ramoops on this device despite it being enabled in the kernel (doh!) I'll see what I can figure out from my end - I've got a feeling it's a security option in the kernel config breaking it. If I figure out which one I'll let you know.

I don't believe it would work on an N because the firmware I used is specifically for an F/DS device. Has it even been released on the N yet? The vendor needed for Android Pie *is* included, as is modem, kernel, etc.
