I can confirm that doing exactly this fir my root issue. Clean install 5.2 clean install 5.3 and now i have working root.

Ok I'll try not to sound like such a newb. When I flash 6.3, I'm also getting the no root issue. I never get asked to accept any permissions it just says failed to obtain root. So in recovery what exactly needs to be wiped?

I have this case and while the case itself is fine, the kickstand is next to worthless. It's too close to the end of the phone. I can actually blow the phone over.

Is there anyway to change status bar icon colors? I can changet the clock but gravity box doesn't seem to do this anymore.

This is really weird I just noticed this but when I turn my volume all the way down the silent icon is green. I was trying to make everything on the right side of the status bar green.

Beta kernel How do I overclock the cpu on beta kernel? Ive tried in kernel auditor and the faux app. If I try to overclock to anything about stock it just goes back to stock.
