Yes it did, managed to update twrp via adb/fastboot and tried to flash it again. All worked and phone is not smoother than ever :)

Have bricked tf201 and can get logic board from tf300t, i believe they are very similar? Can anyone confirm this will work? Note my TF201 is early version that would require a reverse screen option in kernel if replace screen. thanks

When i boot i don't any options, it just goes straight to the robot with exclamation mark. There is no issues with OS drivers as i can connect a working TF201 to system and it is found ok. I can connect it is apx mode and it found by win7 which is run via parallels desktop

If i try and get into fastboot mode using above commands i just get a image of Android robot with yellow triangle inside with exclamation mark? Running the fastboot command with twrp blob while it is like this results in message, waiting for device thanks

ok sorted, checked the .bat and is for windows i am on OSX so did fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery fastboot/recoveryTWRP.blob and it works :) great many thanks, now to try your custom rom
