Thanks dzidexx. I think it has more to do with the number of devices, since if I do a factor wipe and start adding devices it gets into the same state.

All, Here is an update, and not sure if this is pointing to a problem with the ROM or hardware but... I did a factory reset via recovery and bluetooth functionality seemed to behave properly. I then did a recovery from google which put the bluetooth back into the same state as it was before...

Hi all. I am wondering if there is a fix out there for the stagefright vulnerabilities for an Active that is already rooted? In another thread, not even sure if it was in an XDA forum or I saw it elsewhere, there were patches for S5 and S6 devices. Thanks
