all of my backups were on my samsung account, so I would rather have them activated. i don't know why but I found the UI a breeze to work with and got used to the apps. I just hate to change it, for no other reason than because I'd rather spend time doing other pointless things. lol.

so if i follow your procedure and then flash an att csc file, will that give me the message backup and what not? by chance will that fix the samsung account issue?

On the 9th screenshot you have a bootloader that you flashed but I can't seem to find that one in these downloads. When I previously tried to follow your directions, i wasn't coming from the Verizon stock, and went into a bootloop, which I assume was because I didn't start with the Verizon...
