Good to hear you've done it! Maybe it's a computer hardware/software specific issue but I've never had USB debugging enabled. Still it is mentioned in Odin "how to" guide.

4 files is correct. I used 3.13.1. Never ran as administrator. Try to use another usb port. Heard that USB3 is not always good. One guy here mentioned he managed to upload firmware on another computer. Check for other software could interfere with USB comunication. Is CRC check OK?

User data shouldn't be used at all but this is not a problem. Loading it will double and mix some operator related apps and settings (at&t and t-mobile). Still it can be loaded with no error in Odin. Please check if you are doing everything correct. Are you doing it from "Download" mode?

The following is at&t update info. ara1, arb1 and brc5 are the last 4 letters of the build name. You have to download all necessary files for Odin first. https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s8/how-to/g892a-odin-restore-files-data-pit-t3766685 This is arb1. Please google for instructions...

You can do this if you have all the OTA updates in a row. Please remember that your phone will try to reset on each sideload update unless you do a trick. The other way you can use full restore with Odin to either ara1 or arb1. The data will be reset. Then there is no need to setup your phone...

Prepaid cards do not work in roaming. At&t card will not help at all as you have to be registered with at&t network. Just download either OTAs or full restore with Odin.

Looks like RC5 is still a Release Candidate 5 as it does not connect Gear S3. Definitely not a final version still to come. :)
